The Ideas Portal is here!

Many customers have suggested that Blackbaud provide more transparency with the ideation process, and we couldn’t agree more! Your ideas will be reviewed and updated as they progress through the product life cycle at each stage, and those who voted or subscribed to an idea will receive an update via email.

We received lots of great suggestions for improvements to the Ideas portal and are happy to report that we have expanded the category options based on your recommendations. 
  
We didn’t stop there! Many other suggestions were taken into consideration as well, including:

• The Ideas Portal will be able to show you all of the ideas that you have submitted in the “My Idea” section of the portal.
• You will be given the opportunity to filter by Status or category, as well as search through using tags. This can give you the ability to find all of your ideas that your staff as submitted
• To avoid duplicate or similar ideas, the Ideas Portal will show you similar ideas while you are submitting your new idea, as seen below.

 

• Users will only be given the opportunity to vote on an Idea once, but the Ideas Portal will not limit the total number of votes for each user
