Target Analytics Data Refresh for Major Giving Research

Published
For prospect researchers who identify and qualify major giving prospects, we have refreshed data for you! Last night, we updated NOZA, Federal Elections Commission (FEC), Experian, and Thomson Reuters Business Intelligence (TRBI) MarketGuide in our Target Analytics database.

When we updated the data, we saw an increase in record counts for all the above data sources, and we made an improvement to the GuideStar recursive matches.

Now, when you perform WealthPoint screenings on a constituent’s wealth and ratings record, or when you perform a screening on your research lists, you'll have the latest philanthropic gifts, political donations, and income/compensation information.

Also, an important note about Experian data when we refreshed it in July. In Prospects, when you search the external prospecting database, if a prospect has more than one contact address found, the first address shown is now the “best mailable” one. So, if you search for a prospect in New York, but the best mailable address is in California, the California address is shown first. The New York one will appear if you click through the results.

We hope you enjoy the new data! To learn about upcoming data refreshes, check your Blackbaud CRM Community event calendar! We’ll post the data refresh dates one month in advance.
