RE:Event App 2.0 Released

THANK YOU to all those that participated in customer discovery for the RE:Event app!  Real stories and scenarios from customer involvement drove this work to make it better for you - the actual users.

Based on that feedback -- the latest update to the RE:Event app for iPad makes it easier to streamline your onsite attendee management and reduce (if not eliminate) data entry after your events.

Here’s what you’ll find in the RE:Event app 2.0:

  • A redesigned user experience that facilitates quick searching of participants
  • Double checks built into searching and adding new participants to avoid duplicate records
  • Ability to record the payment type for registrations— credit card, cash, check or pledge
  • Individual information, registration, and payment all flows into The Raiser’s Edge and Batch seamlessly—confirm and commit the batch and your data entry is complete!
  • Swipe to process a credit card payment in the RE:Event app— powered by Blackbaud MobilePay™ for U.S. and Canadian customers: credit card data is always encrypted and secure
  • Ability to choose gift default sets for registration gift automatic coding

And you are still able to:

  • Check in participants that updates attendance in real time to The Raiser’s Edge
  • Choose individual default sets for new registrant automatic coding
  • Track checked in and capacity statistics in real time

To start using these new features, update your app from the App Store.
