A Short Insight Into the BBMS Web Portal

Blackbaud Merchant Services is a payment service that integrates with Blackbaud products such as The Raiser’s Edge, eTapestry and Blackbaud NetCommunity.

BBMS is great and what you can do to report on the donations that it processed is…great!

One of things I want to cover is the Blackbaud Merchant Services Web Portal. The web portal is the heart and soul of viewing everything about BBMS.

Here’s a few of the things that the Web Portal is capable of:

• 
  
• Processing transactions (offline processing)
  
• Viewing disbursement reports
  
• Searching for transactions
  
• Refunding transactions
  

You can also do much more such as adding additional users with security rights (for example, you only want persona A to see reports).

If you have BBMS, you can access your portal by entering your login details to the BBMS Web Portal

Once logged in, you’ll see your home screen which displays a some basic information and alerts:



At the left hand side, you’ll see your navigation bar. This is where you can customize your BBMS experience:
