January Release Sneak Peek for The Raiser’s Edge® and Luminate Online™ Integration

The latest update to The Raiser’s Edge and Luminate Online integration features some very exciting new features that users have been waiting for! With the January releases of both a new version of the plug in and Luminate Online, users will now be able to integrate their Team Raiser events with RE:Events in The Raiser’s Edge.  As always, we’re also releasing several fixes and enhancements to make working with the integration easier for you.

New Features available on January 27th, 2015:

Team Raiser will now integrate with the RE:Event Module:

  • Luminate Online will now allow users to cross reference each Team Raiser Event to a specific Event record in RE:Event
  • Once a Team Raiser form has been cross referenced to the proper event, Registrations will download to The Raiser’s Edge with Participant records that each donation will be linked to
  • In the Luminate Online plug in, users will see one line item in Gifts and Registrations for each registration’s gift(s)
  • If a participant makes an additional donation or purchases an upsell, those purchases will appear as a separate line item in Gift Batch, with the Registration Fee as another line item
  • Registration Fees will appear on the Registration Fees tab of the Participant record, and Additional Donations and Upsell gifts will appear on the Donations tab of the Participant record
  • In addition, several attributes will download to the Participant records: Participant types, Team Raiser team information, specific upsell data, Team Raiser Participant pages, and discount data will be included and available for reporting purposes in The Raiser’s Edge.

Fixes and Enhancements available with the release of the Luminate Online plug in for The Raiser’s Edge on January 15th, 2015:

  • Web services will now be updated and installed from the Web Services page in the Navigation bar of The Raiser’s Edge (For update instructions, see this solution)
  • Changes entered when clicking Create New Tribute will now save when navigating away from the record (BB753967)
  • Changes to Acknowledgee information when linking Honor/Memorial gifts will now save in the plug in (BB753559)
  • We’ve resolved the instance of the error: Unlinking failed in the offline system. Constituent ID [XXX] and Member ID [XXX] do not match (BB747835)
  • When limiting data entry in Raiser’s Edge Campaigns, Funds, or Appeals, that logic will now flow to Raiser’s Edge cross referencing (BB754489)
  • We’ve resolved the instance of the Queue Problem Management error: The formatter threw an exception while trying to deserialize the message (BB754494)
  • We’ve resolved the instance of some constituents not flowing to The Raiser’s Edge, but not throwing any errors in Queue Problem Management. This will be available in the January 27th release of Luminate Online (BB754493)
  • We’ve resolved the instance of the error: General ODBC error: String or Binary Data would be truncated when processing gifts in the plug in (BB750895)
