Dashboard and Pivot Reports: blogs/10/1772

In addition to the resources listed above, we’ve summarized the information on what you need to do to prepare right here in this blog!

For the phone/contact information changes:

If you haven’t already, please click here for the blog post that goes into more detail about the upcoming changes. What do you need to do to prepare?

If you have contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, links) on alternate addresses (non-primary business) that are valid and active, before upgrade to the Raiser’s Edge 7.94, you can move these to the preferred address; many of our customers already do this to see them on the Bio 1 tab of the constituent records. Phone and contact information stored on non primary business alternate addresses will be marked as inactive following the update. Primary business address contact information will remain active on the primary business relationship after the update. Link to the blog: blogs/10/1756

For the Pivot Report changes:

If you haven’t already, please click here for the blog post that goes into more detail about the upcoming changes to Pivot Reports and Dashboards. If you use Pivot Reports – we strongly recommend taking snapshots of your existing Pivot Report setups to use as a guide to recreate your new excel based pivots. Since Pivot Reports in version 7.93 use Office Web Component technology, existing pivot report structure (row/column mappings, filters, etc.) will not remain or convert from 7.93 to 7.94. Office Web Component technology is being removed from the Raiser’s Edge since these components will no longer supported by Microsoft after July 2015. As a result of this, all Pivot Reports will need to be recreated in the new version. Link to the blog: blogs/10/1772

For the Dashboard changes:

No action is needed.
