The Raiser's Edge 7.94 Update: Relationship Contact Information

By now, you should be aware of changes that are coming to personal contact information in the Raiser's Edge 7.94, but what about other types of contact information – what happens to contact information that’s stored on a relationship record? Let’s take a look at what happens to contact information (phone/email/etc.) in each of these examples:

• 
  
• Contact information stored on the preferred address (on Bio 1) will be moved to the new contact information fields as active
  
• Contact information stored on any of the alternate addresses (non-preferred addresses) will be moved to the new contact information fields as inactive
  
• Any contact information stored on a relationship record (including business relationships, spouse, etc.) will remain on the relationship record. This contact information will not be moved.
  
• If the primary business is the preferred address for the constituent, the phone/email contact information will still be visible on the Bio 1 tab.
