Stuff You Need To Know About Export

September means fall mailings in Raiser's Edge, and fortunately the RE Community has you covered. 

Stuff You Need to Know this month focuses on Export, the best way to extract all kinds of information from Raiser's Edge. Whether you're exporting a spreadsheet of addresses, creating the letter in a mail merge directly from export, or including phone and email information (without phones marked Do Not Call, of course), the Export module can help with the process. 

Our Stuff You Need to Know section has handy resources to help you on your way to excellent exporting. Once you've checked those out, stop by our Forum Contest to wow us with your knowledge! Last but not least, I'll be hosting Live Chats this month on the 14th and 28th to share more tips and tricks, host a discussion, and answer questions. 

There's a lot of good Export info coming to the Community this month, and here's a quick bonus tip: By changing the column header in Export, you can make your result much more easily readable. This allows you to show exactly what is found in that column and avoid confusion for anyone looking at the spreadsheet.
