Well spring will be here before we know it, and we’re welcoming it with our newly streamlined Raiser’s Edge Fundamentals course series which launches tomorrow, Thursday, March 1. We know you need to get your job done faster than ever, so we’ve condensed the Raiser’s Edge Fundamentals series into four courses that cover what you need to know to get started:

I’ve taken the Fundamentals before. Will I benefit from taking them again?
Yes! These spring-fresh courses focus on application and best practices, so every user walks away with some new tips and tricks.
What happened to Raiser’s Edge: Fundamentals—Overview and Raiser’s Edge: Fundamentals—Mail?
In order to get you back to work more quickly, we’ve included an overview of Raiser’s Edge in the first Fundamentals course, Raiser’s Edge: Fundamentals—Constituents. We have also transformed Raiser’s Edge: Fundamentals—Mail into a brand new course, Raiser’s Edge: Efficient Mail Communications which is no longer a part of the Fundamentals series. This new structure will get you back to work faster, but still imparts all of the great Raiser’s Edge knowledge you need to get the job done.
What if I have already started the Fundamentals series?
You do not have to start over! All previously fulfilled prerequisites are still valid. You will be able to pick up a course in the new Fundamentals series right where you left off in the previous series.
Do I need to retake the 2018 Raiser’s Edge Fundamentals Certification Exam?
Your 2018 Raiser’s Edge Fundamentals Certification is still valid. You do not need to retake the exam if you have already earned a passing score.

Explore system navigation and learn how to build relationships with your supporters, using Raiser’s Edge. Utilize different types of constituent records to store biographical, contact, fundraising, and other important data.
Learn where gifts fall in the fundraising process and how to enter them in Raiser’s Edge. Discuss best practices for gift entry. Explore different types of gift records, as well as the information tracked for each type.
Learn what queries are and how to use them effectively. Create groups of records, utilize summary information, and construct complex queries using multiple lines of criteria.
Learn how to track past performance with data analysis and extraction tools in Raiser’s Edge. Set up reports, dashboards, and exports to see progress at a glance. Access and modify each tool to fit your needs.
