Read on to learn about enhanced auditing of user account changes and other improvements to Grantmaking.

Security auditing for user account changes

To provide customers with more insight into user accounts changes, we’ve added an additional page to Control Panel > Audit. Whereas the general Audit page shows that all changes to user accounts were made by “ADMIN,” the new Audit - Security page details changes to Blackbaud IDs and who made each change.

This new page helps users comply with cybersecurity initiatives, including the UK’s General Data Protection Regulation (GPDR), as recommended by the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre guidance on Identity and access management.

More information on this feature is available in the Auditing - Security help topic.

Enhanced password security for Grantee Portal accounts

We increased password security requirements (length, characters, etc.) for all Grantee accounts not integrated with Blackbaud ID. Users will be prompted to change their password if it does not meet the new security requirements.

To review the new security requirements, see the Authentication and Security Changes help topic.

Background processing for long operations

We've added ad-hoc reports, requirements generation, and Workplace exports to the operations that Grantmaking handles in the background. This means you can continue working in the application while you wait for these processes to complete.
