What's New In Raiser's Edge NXT The Week Of August 16

Published

This week, Raiser's Edge NXT updates with some exciting new features, including donor retention analysis, filtering by custom ratings, and deeper dives into search results, donor lifecycle statuses, and a gift's fundraising efforts!

42b15bc00928559af042b1dbae535fbf-huge-reAnalyze donor retention and its revenue. The goal of your acquisition efforts is to turn new donors into retained supporters who give again and again for the long term. To analyze how many donors give year-over-year and their cash-in-hand giving, you can now select Retention in Fundraising, Analyze. Similar to LYBUNT — that's "Last Year, But Unfortunately Not This year" — analysis, you can use these new metrics to track how many donors from last year remain engaged during the current year — in context of both the fiscal year and the last 12 months! For more information, see the Donor Retention Analysis Help.

Admins! For each security group, choose whether its members should use the new Retention metrics. For more information, check out the Analyze Rights Help.

e41df2d6ead1929f7c8a520d035d72b3-huge-raFilter constituents by ratings. When you work with a list of constituents, you can select Filters to view and manage only those that meet specific criteria. When the new Ratings filters, you can include only constituents based on their wealth ratings from Target Analytics or custom ratings such as affinity, engagement, or wealth characteristics your organization tracks from other sources. You can filter constituent lists to only those with specific ratings or ratings from specific sources or date range. For more information, see the Constituent List Filters Help.

View constituents by donor lifecycle status. To help identify donors at each stage of the lifecycle, you can now view constituents based on their status — such as At-risk, Acquired, or Recaptured — in Fundraising, Analyze. Under Overview, simply select the wedge or data point for a status under Donor lifecycle to view a list of the constituents included in the number-crunching. For more information, check out Donor Lifecycle Analysis Help.

View details about a gift's campaign, fund, or appeal. On a gift's record, you can view the campaign and fund it applies to and the appeal used to ask for it under Fundraising details. To view additional details about a campaign, fund, or appeal, you can now select its description to open its record.

045ec8448676b7dbe31213b4da5630a8-huge-viView all matches and identify deceased constituents in search. To help find constituents when there are similar — or more than eight — matches for criteria entered in the Search for a constituent field, you can now select View all results for detailed search results. Also, to help identify constituents who have passed away, "Deceased" now appears with their search result. For more information, see the Search for Constituents Help.
