August Miniseries: Group Sales

The Altru Miniseries is returning in August and we'll be tackling group sales. The last year has brought a significant amount of changes to group sales, so whether you're just getting started with group sales or are a seasoned vet, these classes will serve as a great place to jump start or refresh your group sales knowledge.

All classes are 1 hour, starting at 2 pm ET and free of charge. Rachel (our miniseries master) is out on maternity leave, but she's left you in good hands with Katie, David, James, and Devendra. Click the link below to sign up. In the interest of saving you time, we created the classes as a series. So when you register, you'll be signed up for all 4 classes (you don't have to register for each individual class). However, if you can't make it to one - no big deal. Attend when you can. We'll record all the sessions, so you can watch what you miss at your convenience.

Aug 7 - Group Sales 101  

We will discuss how to set up and add reservations in Altru. We will also discuss how to schedule program events, customize itineraries, and make changes to the itinerary.

Aug 14 - Managing the Group Sales Reservation 

We'll also discuss how to add deposits & payments, change visit dates, and check-in groups.

Aug 21 - Troubleshooting Common Problems in Group Sales 

We will discuss how to resolve flat rate error messages, generate a new contract, update pricing or visitor count, and manage discounts.

Aug 28 - Reporting on Group Sales Attendance & Revenue 

We will discuss what shows on each group sales report along with the parameters and dates associated with the report results.  We will also investigate some common queries use to help aid reporting on group sales revenue.
