How to Make Friends and Influence People ... in the Community

Published
I've got to admit, I never read the book. I had a few friends read it in college, but somehow it never made it into my must-read list. But it seemed applicable to our community. I encourage you to make friends BY influencing people. The community is the place to go for opinions, for help. Around 1 in every 7 questions that are posted are directed at community members, not our support team. So you have ample opportunity to share your thoughts, advice, and knowledge.

Want to meet people with similar interests? Looking for advice from someone doing your job in another city or vertical? Instead of Google-ing "contribution-based membership," ask your community. There are users in there giving it a try and I'm sure they'd be willing to share their advice.
