New Features Coming in October: Altru 3.12

Keeping with our two-month release schedule, the latest version of Altru will be released next month. The theme of this release is delighting your patrons!

Be sure to visit the Altru New Features page to get all the information and guidance you need to begin using the new features right away. As a preview, here are the three new features I'm most excited about:

  • Daily Sales Notifications: You can now set notifications to appear on the Daily Sales page. For example, you can set a notification to appear when a board member is making a purchase, or a reminder to contact the development department when a major donor is checking out.


  • Apply Discounted Tickets to Memberships You can now apply discounted tickets to memberships for Daily Sales. The apply tickets to a membership screen has also been updated for increased usability. Previously, you entered the number of tickets to apply from a list of tickets by price type. Now, you can select individual tickets and enter the dollar amount to apply from each (up to the total cost of the ticket).


  • Create Specific Acknowledgement Emails for Online Orders: Previously, you could only set a single acknowledgement email for all online purchases. Now you can set specific acknowledgement emails for designations, ticketed programs, fundraising events and memberships. With a specific acknowledgement email, you can specify information on parking, location and time of the event, details on the campaign or any other special information about what they’ve purchased!
