New Features Coming this Month

We'll be adding some new features to Altru next week with our 3.13 release. We know the holiday season isn't ideal for adjusting workflows, so these new features are easy to consume and use. Here's what you'll be seeing:

  • Individual Notifications for Daily Sales: With the 3.12 release, we added the ability to set daily sales notifications at the group level. With 3.13, you'll be able to add notifications for Daily Sales from within a constituent record. This allows you to create an individual notification, such as “Jane’s wallet is in the lost and found,” to automatically appear when this constituent’s record is open in Daily Sales.


  • Sales Quick Access Tasks: The Refund, Group check-in, No Sale and Order Search tasks were added to daily sales for quick access. To access these buttons, expand the daily sales screen.


  • Constituent Revenue Information: Revenue information for constituents is now available directly in the constituent record in the new Revenue tab. This was previously stored in the left navigation under Revenue and Recognition. The new format simplifies the way constituent information is organized; you can now find Revenue Summary, Revenue History, Recognition, Recognition Summary, Recognition History, Gifts (which combines the previously separated planned giving and matching gift information), Tributes and Accounts all as second-tier tabs under Revenue in the constituent record.


  • Batch Formatting: When you resize a column width in a batch template, the new size is “sticky” so that the size will remain the next time you use that template. You can also now add Installment Amount as a field in the batch template for the Enhanced Revenue Batch.
