The BEST Thing About bbcon

I asked a few members of the Altru team what their favorite thing about bbcon was. From meeting customers to karaoke to the grub, it seems like everyone had a fantastic time. Here are their responses:

Other than all the exercise I got walking around the beautiful Gaylor Opryland hotel, my favorite part of BBCON was hearing success stories from customers who were able to increase their impact by using Altru.  Whether it was saving money on BBMS fees, doubling the frequency of a special event to bring in more revenue, or being able to consolidate multiple systems to save time and move staff to more impactful roles, it’s great to see that we can help you make a difference.  I also love asking about your “wish list” items and how we can make Altru even better, but the success stories are fuel and inspiration for me and the rest of our product development team. - Jonathon Leeke, Altru Product Manager

Favorite things about BBCON:

• Sam from Pittsburgh Zoo’s impromptu story during our Altru Roadmap session on how Altru has saved them time, made lives easier, and enabled them to hold zoo brew 2X per year as the event execution with Altru has gotten so much easier, with eTickets, self-services tools, and everything in one system.
  
• Jonathon Leeke signing Karaoke for the first time – after all he is musically talented and we are the Arts & Cultural Team!
  
• A room full of customers explaining the amazing benefits, time and dollar savings by moving over to blackbaud payment services and the built in credit card reconciliation in Altru
  
• The amazing bluegrass band outside the expo
  
• RJ Mittee’s amazing talk.

Food! (Kidding.)  The best thing about BBCon is my chance to meet our fantastic Altru clients, hear their successes and catch up on the new, exciting things happening in their world. I love seeing our clients excited to learn new things, networking with other Altru users, and making the most of their BBCon experience.
