Newest Altru Class Available this May!

2016 is off to a great start for Altru users! In March, we announced Altru training is undergoing a major revamp as it integrates with Blackbaud University. April brought the release of two new classes on the fundamentals of Altru. These classes are in the Blackbaud University format, which encourages a more engaging and hands-on training experience than we’ve had in prior Altru classes. We’ve had great feedback so far, and we’re excited to be able to offer a consistent starting place for all new Altru users who want to learn the basics.
Altru: Sales Management
May brings another new class to you, which includes content we haven’t offered in previous online instructor-led courses. If you’re an Altru user who needs to go beyond the initial sale—and manage myriad sales-related tasks for your visitors and program patrons—then you’ll want to attend the Blackbaud University class, Altru: Sales Management.
This three-hour instructor-led course introduces tasks related to the management of sales orders following the original sale. Learn how to: scan and reprint tickets; manage ticket pickup and batch ticket printing options; resend sales receipts; solve basic issues with sales orders; refund sales orders; reschedule program tickets; and complete daily cash drawer approval and reconciliation. Learn about the check-in processes for preregistered programs, special events, and group sales reservations, and review the reporting options available for sales and ticketing in Altru.
