It’s that time of year again! We are nearing the end of the school year, and you are preparing for graduation, finalizing transcripts and report cards, and possibly even getting an early start on tasks you need to complete for next school year. Here in Support, we know it’s difficult to remember how to run processes that you only use once a year, so we’ve compiled a list of resources that you may find helpful as you prepare for the next school year over the next several months.
Scheduling:
- Check out How to prepare for a new scheduling year for step by step instructions for everything from how to prepare for scheduling to how to send out schedules once your schedule is complete.
- Is your schedule complete, but you are finding out you need to make some changes? Find more info here: How to withdraw, drop, or transfer a student from classes.
- You can also review the Scheduling Guide for more how-to information.
- Looking to update records but not sure which status wizard to use? What are the status wizards in The Education Edge has the answers for you.
Grades:
- Double-check your course grading information and translation tables before grades start coming in to make sure you’re all set!
- Need to set up or run GPA, course average, performance category or class rank calculations? How to create, run and troubleshoot calculations in Registrar's Office will show you how.
- Want to use a weighted GPA but not sure how to set this up? Refer to How to determine whether to award weight on course record or translation table to help you decide.
FAWeb/NetClassroom:
- There are several tasks that need to be completed in FAWeb to get it ready for the upcoming year. Use How to prepare for a new year in Faculty Access for the Web as a guide.
- Have teachers that are new to FAWeb? Want to see a sample NetClassroom tutorial for parents and students? Look to our How-To documentation for help guides, videos and more.
