What you need to know for upcoming OCC updates

It has been a busy second semester for our schools. We know we’ve had a number of issues arise over the past few months. With that in mind, we want to ensure you are aware of an update happening this upcoming weekend to enhance our security around password management. On Sunday, June 7th for schools that have Online Campus Community/Blackbaud NetCommunity hosted with Blackbaud and host their Education Edge database locally, we will be updating your website to our latest version. With this change, it will require that you update your plug-in on all workstations as well.

For prior releases, we could allow a delay between these upgrades; however, if we do not upgrade the plug-in, it will cause an error to occur for your users when we run the Add Users Utility. This error results in users being unable to log into Faculty Access for the Web and NetClassroom. We know you are busy with the school year coming to its close and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
