Updated! OnBoard Curriculum
Published
Blackbaud University is committed to providing customers with classes that are relevant, valuable, and up-to-date. That’s why, in response to changing software and customer feedback, we’ve refreshed the onBoard curriculum! The following three classes now deliver enhanced how-to and best-practice instruction on the features and tools in onBoard.
K–12 onBoard: Admissions Process 1
This course provides the introductory information you need to begin using onBoard to manage a prospective family’s journey through the first half of the admissions process, with a focus on how to personalize that journey. Learn how to create inquiry and application forms, update candidate data, and assign login credentials to prospective family members so they can access your school’s password-protected community.
K–12 onBoard: Admissions Process 2
This course provides the introductory information you need to begin using onBoard to manage a prospective family’s journey through the second half of the admissions process, with a focus on how to personalize that journey. You’ll learn how to add and edit checklists, publish decisions, record financial aid awards, and create re/enrollment contract forms.
K–12 onBoard: Communication
This course provides the introductory information you need to begin using onBoard to communicate externally with prospective families and internally with other admissions staff members. Learn how to publish information in the password-protected community, compose Official Notes, and perform mail merges.
To learn more about these classes, or to register for a class, please access the K–12 “ON” Products curriculum datasheet.
Good news for Blackbaud Learn® subscribers! If you have a Learn More or Learn Everything training subscription, these classes are included. Not a subscriber? Find out how a Learn subscription can help develop your efficiency and ongoing skills.

My name is Jackie Christenesn and I'm the Product Manager for onCampus, Blackbaud's LMS. You have a great point. Today the email communication from Rosters is really individual/or whole class with nothing in between. We are working on taking bulk actions from our interactive lists. I'll relay back to the techincal team that we need to consider filters by group associations and also tie them back to the Roster so that Teachers can benefit from them not just admins. If you have additional thoughts on this there is also an existing idea in our Community Forum:
