What's New (March 10, 2017)

Published
With this release, we made several enhancements to SKY Reporting, starting with updated Transaction Code and Project Income and Expenses dashboards.

When you add either of these dashboards, you can now select to view them with or without starting and ending balances. Viewing without balances may be helpful if you don't track projects or transaction codes across fiscal years. However, if you do, you can easily select to view either dashboard with balances. These enhancements further streamline your workflow, helping you to track only the metrics you need.

To access the new views, select from the following:
  • Analysis, Transaction Code - w/ balances
  • Analysis, Transaction Code - w/o balances
  • Analysis, Project Income and Expenses - w/ balances
  • Analysis, Project Income and Expenses - w/o balances
For more information, see Transaction Codes Analysis and Project Income and Expenses Analysis.

We also added a new metric column to the Accounts, Payables, and Project Income and Expenses dashboards. From Analysis, Accounts (by month, quarter, or year), when you select metrics under Summary (such as Actuals and Budget), you can now scan row details by Account number and Account description to quickly locate the information you need. For more information, see Accounts Analysis.

From Analysis, Payables, when you select metrics under Summary and Aged accounts payable, or view data under Unpaid invoices, you can now scan row details by ID to quickly locate the information you need. For more information, see Payables Analysis.

From Analysis, Project Income and Expenses, under Project income and expense report, we added an ID column to help you further review a breakdown of income and expenses for selected projects. For more information, see Project Income and Expenses Analysis.

Multiple invoices
Also new this release, from the Invoices list in Payables, you can now work with multiple invoices at once. From the list, you can:
  • Approve multiple, pending invoices.
  • Mark multiple, approved invoices as pending.
Previously, you could only approve an invoice from its record — either using the quick view or by editing the full record. This time-saver allows you to complete an important task in your workflow from one central location. For more information, see Invoices.

I tried to add a project income and expenses analysis without balances but all I get is a blank workspace where the report should be. I don't even get an opportunity to add or change any of the filters. The "with balances" analysis works fine.
