What’s New (October 2015)

The latest release of Financial Edge NXT includes the following features and enhancements:

Report parameters
Report parameters determine what information is included in the report and how that information is displayed. The report parameters you set up and maintain in the database view appear in Financial Edge NXT. Likewise, when you edit a report's parameters in Financial Edge NXT, those changes appear in the database view.

Note: Currently in Financial Edge NXT, you can edit report parameters only for the Income Statement. We will add the ability to edit report parameters on other reports in upcoming releases.

Supported browsers
With this release, we added support for the Edge browser. Financial Edge NXT now supports the following browsers:

• Chrome
• Internet Explorer 11
• Firefox
• Edge

Credit memo tile enhancements
You can now drag and drop the information tiles on credit memos. This is helpful when you want to rearrange where the information displays on the page. You can move the tiles using the anchor in the top right corner.

GL distribution enhancements
With this release, we made enhancements to how you add and edit distribution information on credit memos and cash receipts. You now add new distribution rows from the top of the Distributions grid. To edit a distribution row, you simply select the account number to expand the row. Use the multi-select functionality to duplicate rows, or to delete all distribution rows at one time.
