The “In” Group

I was never part of the popular group of kids in school. Not in elementary, middle, high school, OR college. I was always just me. If you’re waiting for me to say that now I’m completely part of the “in” group at Blackbaud, can’t say as I am.
But I’m here to tell you that within Financial Edge, you can build your own “in” crowd. You can create groups of records that help focus your reports and chart organizers. These groups can be used throughout Financial Edge NXT database view to produce lists, direct processes to a specific group, and of course, to narrow the focus of reports.
Those of you using Financial Edge NXT may grumble at having to switch between views to work with Query—but the reality is, if you set your queries up ahead of time, you only need to search for and select the appropriate query when creating your report parameter. And remember, both the query and the report parameter can be saved for future use! Dynamic queries (in database view) and dynamic dates (in web view reports) ensure you capture the most up-to-date data for analysis!
