E-filing Signature Changes for 94x Series Forms

Aatrix has added an enhancement to the eFile process: 94x Series Signatures. To maintain compliance with the Federal Modernized eFile system, when you choose a Federal 94x series form (941, 940, 944, or 945) to be eFiled, you will receive a prompt for selecting a signature method for the Form 8453-EMP. This process replaces the application for a 94x 10 digit Signature PIN. The screen shot below is the initial message you will receive when choosing E-file as how you want to report.

When the above message displays, click within the white box to select a saved signature, create a new signature or indicate that you are a reporting agent. If you are creating a new signature, you will assign the signature a Name, Title and 4 digit PIN. You will then sign in a large signature box using your computer’s mouse.  This signature will be saved for future use.
