Printing Your W-2s

During tax season, making sure that W-2 forms are generated, printed, and correct is on everyone’s mind.  So how do you prepare and print W-2 forms in The Financial Edge? Follow these detailed steps to help get you successfully through the process! All your forms should generate correctly, but sometimes certain instances can occur that cause for a few extra steps.

It may be necessary for your organization to insert an additional column to the W-2 grid and Aatrix gives you the flexibility to do so.  You may find that you forgot one employee or there may be a need to reprint a W-2 for that one employee. This is a nice tip to have handy should a form get lost in the shuffle. If you need to reprint all W-2 forms, then these steps will walk you through the same steps as the original W-2 printing process, with a few minor changes along the way.

As far pre-printed W-2 forms, our Financial Edge team only supports forms ordered through Blackbaud Forms, but we do have a few helpful troubleshooting steps, should you need to adjust the alignment of your W-2 form.

Well just how many employees are going to receive a W-2 form this year? This total number of forms created should be given when generating the W-2 forms in the wizard. Hopefully these steps allow for a painless W-2 printing process!
