In the next few weeks we will release our end-of-year update for The Financial Edge that ensures compliance with various tax regulations. You must install the update to ensure compliance with 1099 forms, 1096 forms, W-2s, and W-3s. On your Blackbaud.com profile, you can subscribe to Software Update Notifications, a maintenance benefit, to receive an email the day after a new product update or cumulative patch is released and available for download.

Get a jump start for next year’s payroll processing

Add/update your tax tables
Add new pay schedules to establish a ne wpay frequency in 2015
Copy existing pay schedules to prepare 2015 period end dates for existing schedules
Create new pay types if necessary
Save time by globally adding/expiring pay types, deductions, benefits
Utilize the Change Compensation Wizard to change a Deduction, Compensation, Benefit, or give a raise
Configure The Financial Edge to report the Affordable Care Act

Install / Update / Register Aatrix
Verify W2 information

Hi Rick, as a Hosted Client, you should not have to update Aatrix or update to the new patch that includes the new tax tables. However, since the Tax tables are located inside the database, you will still need to create your new Tax Tables each year. Once your database is updated by Blackbaud with the end of year patch information, you can use the link above to create the new tax tables in your database.

I assume hosted clients do not have to update tax tables or update Aatrix?
