eTapestry Consulting is Here!

Along with the new packages that were recently announced (click here for more information), consulting offerings will now be available for all existing eTapestry package customers (Starter, Essentials or Pro)!

Customers can now purchase consulting in a variety of areas which are outlined below. Click here to access the form where you can make your selections!

Accounting Integration - Is your organization currently spending large amounts of time entering data into two places? If so, our consultants can help you streamline this process by configuring your eTapestry database in a way that will allow transactions to be moved easily from eTapestry and into your accounting software.

For example, if you’re currently using QuickBooks, we will show you how to create the necessary fields in eTapestry and how to enter data in a way that will allow you to take advantage of our QuickBooks Export, which creates a file of your transactions which can then be used to quickly import those donations into QuickBooks. Gone are the days of double entry!

Queries/Reports - Queries are the backbone of eTapestry and are a necessary tool when performing many actions within the database (ex: sending a mass email). If you are struggling with query or report building or feel as though you could be utilizing those features in a more efficient way, we will work with you to strategize which queries or reports would best serve your organization and mission, and will then help you to build those in your database.

Mission Specific User Defined Fields - Knowing the data you need to track and knowing how to track it do not always go hand in hand. If you have data you need to track in eTapestry but have been holding off on doing so because you’re not sure how to implement it, we will discuss your needs and then help determine which fields will best fulfill those. On top of that, we will assist with the creation of these fields and then an explanation of the process of data entry going forward.

Benevon - If you are using eTapestry Next Step and need help with how to use the built in Benevon fields, queries and reports, we can help. We understand the Benevon model and can help you to successfully manage everything from POE’s to your Ask Event. You can make this selection under Mission Specific User Defined Fields on the consulting order form.

Standard Field Sets - eTapestry offers several standard field sets for common data tracking needs many organizations deal with (Grant Tracking, Volunteer Tracking, etc…) If you have a need to track data in one or more of these areas, we can assist with adding the appropriate field set(s) and will then help you customize those fields further to capture all relevant data.

Advanced Security - If your organization has access to the Advanced Security module, we will work with you to discuss your organization’s security needs and we will then implement the security structure necessary to meet those needs. After the security settings have been tested, we will outline the process your organization will need to follow going forward to maintain those settings and ensure they aren’t compromised.

Important Note: If your organization upgrades to a Pro Package, you will receive consulting in one of the five options listed above (your choice) as part of that upgrade. Please speak with your account manager (eTapRelationshipManagers@blackbaud.com) for more information.
