Working Together: eTapestry Personal Fundraising

eTapestry offers different ways to allow supporters to register for events, whether through the Event Registration DIY Form, or you may have our eStore (Cart) enabled to take registrations.  Both of these options are great when you want to gather registrants to attend a dinner, a golf outing, a gala, etc.  But what about those events where you want to not only have supporters register, but also raise funds?  Personal Fundraising in eTapestry is the answer.

With Personal Fundraising a participant can register for your event, and this creates their own fundraising page.  Goals can be set up for how much they are trying to raise, and a thermometer on the page helps show visitors the amount raised to date.  Registrants can also form teams to work together towards an overall goal.



As you will see in the above image each registrant has their own set of options for seeing how much they have raised so far, customizing their fundraising page, as well as emailing those who could potentially join the team or become donors.  This provides the registrant options to fully maximize their fundraising efforts for your event.

In addition to registrants and donors helping to make your Fundraiser a success, the Personal Fundraising module in eTapestry also offers standard queries and reports to view how your Fundraiser is doing as a whole.  You can see who has raised the most money, where each registrant is at towards meeting their goals, and much more!  This allows you the ability to manage your Fundraiser, and get important data prior to your actual event date.

Want to collect additional information during registration?  No problem!  eTapestry's Personal Fundraising module also offers a default set of User Defined Fields that you can choose to enable.  As with many other areas in eTapestry you can also create your own custom User Defined Fields at any time to get the information you want to ask the registrant during the registration process, or a donor when they donate.
