There's something I'd like to address... || eTapestry 7.13.0 adds global address formats

globalDid you know:

  • Building Numbers and Street Names in the Netherlands are really like the zip + 4 in the US?  They can identify the exact location of a residence or office.
  • There is no "City" field, but a "Suburb" field on Australian addresses?
  • Ireland is one of the few countries in the world that does not have a postal code system?

Sometimes when you are just thinking about your own country, you don't realize the differences that are out there.  That is why we just added the ability to support different address formats for 16 countries.

As the eTapestry product continues to grow, not only in North America, but worldwide, we are creating a product that is more diverse and powerful.  No longer does an organization based in the Netherlands have to decide how their addresses fit into a generic address format, with fields they never use.  You see as the world gets smaller and smaller, and online and social fundraising become more common, that donor who just made a gift could very well be from half way across the globe.  Organizations have no boarders on where their support comes from, but yet they still need to make sure they can properly communicate with their donors and the eTapestry product is helping do just that.

Take a look at the new address formatting features eTapestry just released.  Yeah, we are a worldwide product that supports your worldwide fundraising efforts, so you just focus on spreading your mission to a larger group of people and we will continue focusing on making that easier for you to do.
