Speed Your Way To Your Goals

As a working mom of two hungry boys, I rely on technology to help me get to my end result (full kids) as quickly as possible. 83f7b7febc2b6f9d60aa8f108dd1b7ab-huge-boWhen my crockpot broke and my microwave melted (thanks to my boys and a metal bowl), I started researching replacements.

I read about a new kitchen appliance that saves time and takes less planning, the electric pressure cooker. Growing up, my mom used one of the old metal ones that scared me. However, when I read about the new safety features and that I could take frozen meat and dried beans to create chili in less than two hours—I was sold.

When my new pressure cooker arrived, the instruction manual told me how it worked, but not how to apply the technology to the dishes I make regularly. For the scoop on transforming long recipes into quick pressure cooker meals, I turned to the experts and my peers on social media.

Some bloggers wrote about how they had spent hours and hours testing and finding the right way to make things. I was happy that I could take their knowledge and make something without having to do any testing myself. I barely have enough time to get groceries much less spend hours figuring out how to make something edible.

When I worked at a nonprofit, I was the same way. I wanted the software I was using to help me get to my end goal (better relationships with my constituents and more financial support) as quickly as possible. As I started working on updating the eTapestry curriculum, these concepts were at the top of my mind.

Our new courses intertwine technical knowledge with real-world scenarios and best0321c1116916ef7b48aa1c61bef2fcd7-huge-ro practices. In each course, we walk through case studies based on real-world needs you all have shared through posts on the Blackbaud Community and Support cases.

Our eTapestry Fundamentals course series has been condensed into two courses that cover everything from managing constituent accounts and information to creating reports and donor acknowledgement letters.

Once you complete the Fundamentals series, attend the Effective and Efficient series of courses to identify and learn to create the queries, reports, and communications you need as well as time-saving tips and tricks.
