Christmas Green and Your DIY Forms

Published
I bought my first house about the time DIY home improvement shows became popular. I was a young first-time homeowner, so there wasn’t much of a budget for decorating. Inspired by the do-it-yourselfers on TV, I decided to give painting a whirl.

I learned the hard way that a $3 sample of paint is your friend. Trust me, a Christmas-green bathroom is not appealing. Unless you’re an elf.

With a little elbow grease and another gallon of paint, I was able to correct my Christmassy mistake and have a bathroom I could enjoy. I was officially a DIYer!

I encourage you to think about being a DIYer too—with your DIY Forms in eTapestry®. No drop cloth necessary!

We know doing things on your own can be unsettling, especially when it affects something as important as your online giving pages. To take the sting out, we’ve restructured our eTapestry: Do-It-Yourself Forms class by adding real-world examples and more time for practice. You’ll share ideas with peers, discover ways to use transactional and non-transactional pages, and walk through creating and updating your pages. For example, did you know you can copy a DIY Form instead of starting from scratch? It’s true!

If improving your online presence is on your to-do list, register now! This course is included with your Learn More or Learn Everything training subscription. Not a subscriber? Find out how a Learn® training subscription can help you become effective and efficient!

So, give DIYing a whirl, but remember: only use Christmas green if you’re painting Santa’s workshop!
