Holiday Meal Planning with Query

Published
My husband and I are planning our various holiday meals and snacks. To get in the spirit of the season, we’ve turned to the Internet and grouped things into categories, such as “Where has this been all my life?” to “How could someone eat that?”.  413a1b1bcca8fdc536ad2a161301ca7b-huge-fo

A recent blog showcased a hard cheese – dispensed with an aerator of some sort – then sprinkled with a wide foray of various delicacies. The chef had taken odds and ends grown in his garden – nuts, seeds, herbs, flowers – and married the flavors together with the cheese to come up with a gourmet palate-pleaser. Based on the reaction of the host, I’m assuming it was delicious.

Doesn’t it make you wonder how odds and ends can come together as a recipe for something delicious?

Wouldn’t it be amazing if your fundraising data could come together to produce a gourmet delight, too?

Blackbaud University wants to help you use eTapestry queries to create your own data dishes (with a dash of seasonal joy included). Can data be delicious? We think so!

In our eTapestry: Effective and Efficient Queries course, we cover topics such as:
  • What queries to use as starting points for additional queries
  • How to determine the right data return types based on how you’ll use the query
  • Working with multiple types of criteria
  • Combining multiple queries to further refine data for reports and communications
  • Creating queries to group donors based on types of giving, including individual and cumulative amounts
If these topics sound festively appetizing to you, register now! This course is included with your Learn More or Learn Everything training subscription. Not a subscriber? Find out how a Learn® subscription can help develop your ongoing skills.
