Campers Beware: Queries, Reports, and Communications Ahead

Published
Planning takes time and effort, especially when you have multiple factors to consider. Back when I was a summer camp director, we had grand ideas when we sat down to schedule activities for the campers. The problem? Each week was a new group of kids with a new set of likes, dislikes, allergies, ages, and abilities. We had to work on categorizing kids based on all these factors, finding the overlap, and writing down the final plan. Once we had the final plan, there was preparation for each activity. Without an effective exchange of the plans and strategy, we would have been doomed. The entire summer was like we were constantly creating new queries, running the final report, and then communicating our plan. If only I’d had some of the tools eTapestry offers, life would have been a whole lot easier.

If you want to learn the fundamentals of eTapestry queries and reports, as well as communications, check out our two newest offerings soon: See you in class!
