What If The “E” Stands For Excellent?

Published
It took me years before I knew what the “e” in “email” stood for. Easy? Efficient? Exciting? I now know it stands for “electronic,” but maybe it should stand for “excellent.” Why? Nowadays, emails must have an extra something for people to even open them.

Did you know that most nonprofits average 66 emails per subscriber each year? And that the projected number of smartphone users by 2023 is 7.2 billion? Clearly, email is a vital form of communication in the nonprofit world. And that fact won’t change anytime soon.

So how do you effectively reach constituents? You make your email communication excellent. A good first step is to take the newly updated Luminate Online: Basics of Email eLearning course. You’ll learn how to target constituents, craft and organize messages, add personalization (using images, links, and conditional content), report on email efforts, and track statistics for overall performance.

Unfortunately, your email skills won’t sharpen themselves. But we’ve made it easy—so if you make the effort, together we’ll be excellent. Sign up now!
