From Onsite to Online: Transitioning to a Virtual Experience

Published
As we all step back to adjust our lives in the wake of COVID-19, many of us are finding ways we can stay connected to our family and friends by way of social media and meeting software like Zoom. I even download a new (to me) app called Marco Polo so I could stay connected with a group of female farmers I used to meet with regularly.

Nonprofit organizations are doing the same with their donors and fundraising participants. If you haven't already, you are probably looking at how you can keep fundraising moving forward for your upcoming events by transitioning those to virtual experiences. It's new territory for many, but it can be done.

On Thursday, April 9 at 1 p.m. ET, join us for a step-by-step guide on where to update your Blackbaud TeamRaiser® event should your organization find a need to postpone or move your event to a virtual experience.

We’ll share examples along with best practices around messaging, adding a virtual participant, coaching fundraisers to use TeamRaiser Integration with Facebook® along with how to virtually engage your participants during this time.

If you are concerned about how to appropriately message your participants, on April 7 our Blackbaud Peer-to-Peer Fundraising experts will share tips around navigating your P2P messaging. They'll also providing plenty of examples. You can register for that session here.

In addition to our live sessions, Customer Success has a video resource library online where you can access recordings at your leisure here. We will be creating additional videos in the future, so keep this page bookmarked.
