What's New In DonorCentral - 6/21/18 Release

We've included some exciting enhancements in this week's release!
New currency setting
To enable you to change how monetary values are shown throughout DonorCentral, you can now specify the currency you want to use. Previously, all monetary values were displayed in US Dollars ($). Now, you have the option to change to another currency, for example, Pounds (£) or Euros (€).
In Control panel, Options, Currency, in Currency symbol used throughout the site, you can enter the symbol — a single, non-numeric character — for the currency you want to use. The default symbol is US Dollars ($).
All monetary values displayed throughout DonorCentral — except for on the Grant Recommendation form — are automatically updated to reflect the currency setting. For information on how to configure the Grant Recommendation form if you change the currency setting, see Currency symbol use case.
View details for multi-payment grants
Note: Depending on your site's configuration, you may not have access to this functionality.
Under the new Grants grid, you can view details — grant ID, grantee name, status, and amount — for each grant associated with the multi-payment recommendation. You can select a grant ID to display the grant details for the corresponding grant. You can also search for a grant and choose which columns to display in the grid.
Under Recommendation Details, in Amount, you can view the summary of the multi-payment recommendation — total amount, number of payments, amount of each payment, and payment frequency. At the top of the page, Multiple grants, see below displays beneath the charity name instead of the single grant ID that is shown for non-multi-payment grants. Under Approved and Paid, these amounts include all the approved grant totals and paid grant amounts.
Enhancements to recurrence fields on Grant Recommendation Form
To ensure consistency and clarity throughout the DonorCentral user interface, we've updated the frequency field names on the Grant Recommendation form under Recurrence. The Frequency field is now called Number, and the drop-down where you select the time interval is now called Interval. We also added the text Recur every in front of the frequency fields.
