This week's release includes two much-anticipated features — viewing combined details for multiple funds and canceling/changing pending grant recommendations. Read on for details!

View details for multiple funds

To enable advisors with multiple funds to view combined fund details in one location, we've made some enhancements to the Funds page.

Note: Depending on your site configuration, you may not have access to this functionality.

To view multi-fund details, select Combine multiple funds on the Funds page, then select which funds to view. You can select individual funds or all funds, and you can also search for funds to select from. The funds available for selection are only those funds that you have access to.

Once you've selected multiple funds, the information on the Funds page reflects the combined fund details. The Market value and Spendable balance amounts at the top of the page display the combined totals of all selected funds. The spendable balance value is the combined total of the amounts in each fund that's available for you to grant. The market value is the approximate combined total market value of all selected funds.

The details shown on the Fund information tab and Market value tab also now reflect the combined funds. On the Fund information tab, each summary item displays the combined value of the selected funds. When you select a summary item, the grid view rows now include an additional Fund Name column.

Cancel and change pending grant recommendations

To enable advisors to cancel or change grant recommendations that have not yet been viewed by the foundation, admins can now set an option to allow this from Control panel, Settings, Options. Under Grant recommendations, select Allow grant suggestions to be canceled while pending.

When this option is selected, you'll be able to cancel or change pending recommendations from either the Grants page or the Grant details page. On the Grants page under Pending recommendations, you can select Cancel or Change from the recommendation's menu. Or, select View details from the recommendation's menu to display the Grant details page, then select Cancel or Change at the top of the page.

When canceling a recurring recommendation, the confirmation message includes two options that you can choose from — either Cancel this recommendation or Cancel this and all future recommendations.

When you choose to change a pending recommendation, that recommendation is canceled so that you can create a new one that will include your changes. The Grant recommendation form displays with a copy of the information that was in the canceled recommendation, which you can use to make your changes.

After you've canceled or changed a pending recommendation, you'll receive an automated email confirmation. Admins can configure this email under Control panel, Automated emails by selecting Edit from the Recommendation cancellation confirmation email's menu.
