Coming Soon — Gifts functionality
DonorCentral continually evolves with new features and enhancements. With the upcoming Gifts functionality — scheduled for availability in our September 12 release — you'll soon be able to view gift history information and gift details in DonorCentral.
From Gifts on the menu bar, the new Gifts page will display information for all gifts made through FIMS — by you or others — to any of the funds you advise, as well as gifts you made to other funds. Under Gifts received, you'll see the gift amount, gift date, FIMS reference number, donor name, fund name(s), and status (Pending or Processed). In the Gift totals by year bar graph, you'll be able to see your gift totals for the last ten years, and by hovering over each bar, you'll see the exact gift total by year. A summary at the top of the page will display the total amount received and the total number of gifts.
If enabled on your site, you'll also be able to view online gifts that you've submitted, but that haven't yet been received by FIMS.
If you only want to view information for gifts that you've made, you'll be able to select the My gifts only filter. The gift summary values at the top of the page — Amount received and Gifts— and the totals in the bar graph will be updated to only include your gifts.
You'll also be able to view more detailed information about a specific gift — such as the donor’s name, gift description, and any non-gift amount — and how the gift was distributed.
Note: To enable givers to have their memorial / tribute gift amounts suppressed, those gift amounts will display as Anonymous when the gifts are viewed individually; however, the gift amount will still be included in the gift totals.
