Improved search flexibility on Grant Recommendation form
To enable advisors to view more of an organization's information when searching for a prior grant recipient, and to more quickly find an organization when creating a recommendation, we've enhanced the Search prior recipient search capability on the Grant Recommendation form. This search now returns the same format as the Search for a recipient search.
Under Existing Charity, when you enter text in Search prior recipient, results display that match your text. Previously, only the organization name, city, and state displayed in the results. With this enhancement, additional information also displays — including the charity EIN number (if it exists), the Canadian Charity Number (if it exists), and the charity's address.
We've also created a combined search that allows for more flexible entry when you're searching for a prior grant recipient. Previously, search criteria you entered in Search prior recipient had to exactly match an organization's name in order for it to display in the search results.
Now, you can enter part of organization's name, location, or EIN — or a combination of these — and the search results will include matches to name, EIN, city, state, or zip/postal code. For example, if you search for Catholic Minnesota, it will match Catholic Charities of Minnesota, or if you search for Youth Program 4444, it will match Enriched Youth Math Program in Minneapolis, MN 54444.
New Cancel Recommendation Pop-up
To enable you to verify that you want to cancel a recommendation, we've made an enhancement to the Grant Recommendation form. Previously, when you selected the Cancel button, only an alert would display. Now, when you select Cancel, you'll see a pop-up message asking whether or not you want to cancel the recommendation.
