Thanks to those of you who were able to join our roadmap call today.  We had a lot of really awesome things to share with you!  For those who were unable to join I wanted to provide a recap of the roadmap call and invite you to listen to the recording.

  • We are changing our mobile focus from Day of Event to Fundraiser on the Go based on customer demand, we hope to revisit mobilization of Events after the Fundraiser plans complete.

We now have 57% of customers on version 4.0 and are hoping to hit 80% by Q1 2017!  If you have not made your plans to upgrade, please work with your TAM or CSM to put that plan together.  A special congrats to University of Alabama for being our 100th LIVE BBCRM customer, Roll Tide!

We’ve delivered a lot of really great new features and functionality in the last 3 service packs.  We are really beginning to showcase our ability to deliver quality and new features that don’t cause disruption to your organization!  If you are interested in learning more about any of those features please review our Spotlight recordings.

Performance Benchmark Whitepaper was recently released, which is a framework for planning Blackbaud CRM deployments with proven guidelines based on performance tests.  

We also unveiled some new capabilities that will be available in upcoming service packs including a re-investment in the data warehouse.  Please review the presentation to learn more about the details.  We will be showcasing some of these in the August spotlight, make to register to attend when registration opens.

For our BBIS customers, Sam was happy to report that BBIS received increased investment which will allow us to accelerate features for 2016/2017 with a focus on 3 themes: Event Registration, Email and Stewardship.  Register for the July Spotlight to hear more about the BBIS Roadmap.  
 
We also have several projects that are in Discovery.  Discovery is our process to learn from you!  It could be understanding a business problem you are facing or a specific issue within the software.  It is normally conducted via WebEx and includes reviews of designs to solve those problems.  You can sign up for Discovery in the community.  

Our next areas of focus are that are in discovery:
  • Fundraiser on the GO
  • Concurrent Business Processing
  • Reporting and BI
  • P2P Encryption
So what should you be focused on in 2016?
  • If you are not on 4.0, make plans to upgrade
  • Adopt service packs as they are released, or you will get behind and it will feel like a major upgrade.  Early results show that adopting a service pack takes between 2-6 weeks. 
  • Automate your critical business processes with the UAT Automation Toolkit
  • Participate in Discovery
  • Join the community.  Read the blogs and join the discussions.
