SP13 Preview
Product Manager Samantha McGuin will demonstrate new features coming in the BBIS SP13 release, set for release later this month, including:
  • An update of the TinyMCE / WYSIWYG editor in BBIS Email Templates & Messages. This update will offer many advantages when building or copying code to build responsive emails!
  • Helpful usability tools for developers that will save time and reduce clicks when working on stylesheets, unformatted text parts and custom content parts.
  • New directory functionality to allow anonymous users to send messages.
Permanent Email Deletion
Issac Story from Customer Support will be review and demonstrate the Delete Email Permanently feature that we introduced in SP5 and updated in SP9. Issac will show what this feature does, why it is important, and how to utilize it.

Web Developer Matt Cira will dive into best practices for email and web design as well.

How To Improve Your Email Open Rates with Content Abstracts
In addition to optimizing your email templates with responsive design, it is a recommended best practice to provide a content-specific abstract as the first piece of content in an email.

Designing an Inclusive User Experience
Inclusive Design is a commitment to content that ensures all users receive the same amazing experience on your website. How and when should you consider inclusive factors in a site's design workflow?  Matt will review best practices for fitting this into your BBIS design project.
