Blackbaud Grantmaking News You Can Use

Which feature is used all over Blackbaud Grantmaking, but is tricky to find?

If you guessed correspondence templates, you’re right!

Here, there, and everywhere in the system, you’ll find the option to generate correspondence. Templates help you easily create applicant and grantee emails and letters from all types of records—organization, request, payment, or requirement records—or even from a Workspace. Using templates to create correspondence saves time and ensures all documents use approved language.

However, these helpful templates can be a little tricky to find. You need to download the Document Template Manager to view, edit, or create new templates.

To help you find your way, we’ve created a new course, Blackbaud Grantmaking: Correspondence Templates. In this class, we’ll guide you through the grant workflow, creating the templates you’ll need along the way—from application invitations to progress report reminders.

We’ve updated Blackbaud Grantmaking: System Administration to cover more features system administrators use. The class is now focused on three major tasks (plus some extra tips and tricks):

•    Setting up new users for success
•    Setting up the system for success
•    Setting up effective grant workflows

We’re excited to offer you more opportunities to learn about Blackbaud Grantmaking. If there’s other content you’d like to see covered in a class, let us know in the Comments section of this blog!
