Why am I receiving a renewal notice so early?

The Blackbaud Renewals team not only loves helping our clients, but also wants them to succeed! We want to provide you with the most up-to-date information possible on anything that might impact your organization, including:

  • Introducing ourselves as your Renewal Specialist: If we haven’t worked with your organization before, our first correspondence with you will be to introduce ourselves!

  • Providing contact information on how to reach us: Our contact information is always at the bottom of our emails.

  • An estimate of your renewal(s) for your planning purposes: This may come months in advance for your organization, but we know that many non-profits are planning for their future and we want to be a part of that conversation!

  • Any pertinent information on Blackbaud products, promotions, or changes : If you need information, we can lead you in the right direction!

  • Blackbaud policies: Blackbaud now requires a 45 day advanced notice from your renewal date to make changes to your on-going contract. This is to ensure that when you receive your contract 30 days ahead of your renewal it reflects only what you intend to renew. Any changes made after this change window will not be reflected on your renewal contract and will have to be delayed till your next annual renewal.

We value you, our customers, and want to help you get the most out of your Blackbaud products to enable your non-profit to meet its mission. By having early and on-going conversations throughout the year, we hope to answer questions as they arise, give you resources as you grow, and support you through the decision-making process.
