Community Happenings: April 11 2017

Hello favorite Community! I’m back from San Diego after finishing my first professional presentation. While I’ve done public speaking before, it was my first community management subject matter expert presentation.
 
I make that distinction since I figure being a zombie subject matter expert doesn’t count for your career. What a shame.
 
Even now a part of my brain keeps going “Wait, you’re talking about me? That's not right.” Yet last week showed me that I can confidently and concisely discuss community management. 

Also, subject matter expert aligns with my initials – SME. Coincidence? I think not.  Each of you here in the Community is also a subject matter expert – whether it’s queries, reports, or payroll. Keep sharing with your fellow members and become a leader. Who knows - maybe you’ll find yourself speaking at bbcon!
