Community Happenings: August 29 2017

Hi Community!

I’m going to keep my Community Happenings short this week. Between a lovely bout of insomnia and world events, I’m a wee bit tapped out today.

Talking about world events - it’s heartbreaking to see the devastation in South and Central Texas from Hurricane Harvey. Yet it’s inspiring watching people help one another selflessly at the most dire of times.

Blackbaud has created a list of organizations that are assisting with the relief efforts if you want to help. If your organization is part of the relief efforts, comment below with your organization’s name and website and I’ll get that information to our team.

Now let’s talk about what’s happening in the Community:

Make an Appearance
Stay Informed Get Involved Alright favorite community, that’s it for this week. Over the next two weeks you’ll be hearing from my fellow community managers as they fill in for me. I’m excited to see their video digests in action. See you around the Community!

Thank you for submitting your information - I've sent all of the information to our corporate team and they will be updating our page with organization names as soon as they can. If anyone else out there wants to add their name, please let me know!
Thank you to all of the above commenters for also sharing their fundraising pages. In times when hearts are heavy, seeing everyone come together like this certainly lifts the spirit. I'm honored that you all are part of the community.
The United Church of Christ, in collaboration with the Disciples of Christ, is also collecting funds for Hurricane Harvey.
