Holly's Helpful Hints: How To Have Some Fun During BBCON Week

The week before bbcon is an interesting time to be in the Blackbaud offices. There's an energy around bbcon that is almost indescribable. We've spent a lot of time and virtual ink talking about all of the learning opportunities offered at bbcon. If you need a reminder, you can find them here and here and here and even here.
This week, I'd like to focus on another aspect of bbcon - the fun! And, just so the Community members who aren't attending bbcon (or who attended one of our international conferences instead) don't feel left out, I'm going to talk about things you can do online as well as on the ground at the event.
So let's get started.
As I sit here, writing this blog post, I've got Bohemian Rhapsody blaring in my ears. Why? Because some awesome Community member suggested it for the bbcon playlist! The Community-sourced playlist for bbcon is, in my completely unbiased opinion, the single most amazing compilation of music ever assembled. I've been listening to it all day and I'm super energized. Usually it takes an extra giant cup of coffee to get me this pumped up in the afternoon, but today all that energy is courtesy of the Community's bbcon playlist. Check it out and add to it, if you feel like we've missed a necessary song! (disclaimer, the playlist is on Spotify, so you may be asked to create an account with them in order to listen to it)

Will you be at bbcon?
As one of our more visible community members mentioned in his tweet above, there is A LOT of swag to be had. And, again, with absolutely no bias whatsoever, I have to say that no swag is swaggier or more incredible than the swag at the Community and Champions booth. In fact, our booth shines so bright you just might need... shades!
That's right! The hottest swag at bbcon this year will be the Community shades! These shades can be used to help tone down the glare of pure awesomeness that shines out at you whenever you look in a mirror. Or give you something to hide your eyes behind if you need to catch a quick nap. Community shades are versatile and necessary.
Speaking of versatile and necessary...
We have something new and exciting happening at bbcon that benefits both those of you attending and those of you participating through virtual channels. Do you remember those bbcon contests we ran earlier this summer? Well... all those winners will not only be attending bbcon, but they will be part of our first ever bbcon blogger squad! This means that throughout the week, they'll be posting bbcon blogs about their experiences!
