Countdown To Bbcon 2017
Published
It's almost time for bbcon 2017 in Baltimore!
I wanted to take a moment and introduce myself, I’m Terry Vyas, Vice-President and General Manager of Education Services at Blackbaud. I am excited to see so many people attending our inaugural Blackbaud University Day at bbcon 2017 in Baltimore next week.
Blackbaud University Day will be a great learning opportunity for champions of social good. It’s a whole day set aside for focused instruction and practical demonstrations, I think it is going to be great and I hope you are as excited about it as I am.
Ahead of bbcon next week, I wanted to let you know about a few features in the Community:
Check out our Blackbaud University Day badge page, if you are attending this year, claim your badge in Community and while you are there, be sure to send a friend request to everyone who has already claimed their badge (including me.) It’s a great idea to start building connections before the conference.
I am looking forward to meeting our certified users at the reception Monday evening. We will be handing out plaques to all of our certified users who RSVP to the event.
We are excited to also announce that you will be seeing a handful of bbcon attendees in “Community Blogger” shirts this year. These Community members will be writing about bbcon for the Community. If you see a person wearing one of these shirts at bbcon, be sure to say hello and thank them for sharing their experience.
Community Bloggers:
Stacie Dennis
Elizabeth Johnson
Mark Guncheon
Brent Troth
Cathy Spencer
If you are not attending bbcon this year, you can still participate. This year, Blackbaud is offering live streaming of the event.
There will also be online meetups happening at the same time our on-site meetups take place at bbcon. It’s a chance for you to meet with fellow product users, analytics enthusiasts, and other members working in the same type of nonprofit as you. You can check out our online/on-site meetups in the bbcon Community and make plans to join.
Thanks again to everyone who signed up for Blackbaud University Day. I’ll see you in Baltimore next week!
