New Year - New Ways to Use Community!

Published
2018 has arrived and many of you have told me your New Years resolution is to start using the Community more. I wanted to put together a quick "getting started" guide for using and getting involved in Community.

There are a lot of features to this Community you may not know about. A good place to start is the HELP tab on the top navigation menu.

This page will show you how to do everything from managing your account and subscriptions to creating a forum post.

There's also a drop down menu for an array of helpful hints!

Those posts cover everything from how to earn points, badges, and how to create a great profile.

My recommendations for the top three actions you can take in Community: Update your profile (with picture and bio), start building connections - utilize the member page to sort members and send friend requests, and dive on in and answer or ask a question in the forums.

Make sure you are subscribed to the blogs in your product(s), best practices, and you are also subscribed to the forums that interest you.

Is there something you'd like to see in this Community? We have a Community Feedback board HERE and would love to hear from you.

If it is your resolution to get involved in Community more in 2018 - let us know in the comments below. Who knows.. we may create a list and come up with special tasks for you. Happy 2018, Community!

One of my goals, too, this year is to be more involved and connect with the community. Sharing and networking are fundamental tools we can all agree on! Glad to be part of it!
Aww, Virginia! We're excited to have you here too! Thanks for being in the Community!
I just started using Blackbaud - Raiser's Edge and am excited to be apart of this community. I look forward to learning more with all of you! :)
Community is key for relationships and communication. That's why we love it! Thanks, Ann!!! Well put!
Thanks, Crystal, for helping us get a fast start to 2018.  As in the world of philanthropy, it's all about relationships and communication.  The community has created new ways to look over the shoulder of those colleagues who have already broken ground on solutions.  I look forward to the new year!
You are a wonderful presence in Community, Kim! I hope to see more of you here in 2018. :-)
Absolutely hoping to connect more through Community. I tend to be a quiet observer but would like to get more engaged and make more time to read all the great info the other members share!!
