The Buzz: Windy Edition

Good morning Community!

Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we're in the midst of Fall, and in the Southern Hemisphere, SPring is in full effect. What do these two seasons have in common?

Wind. Lots of it.

The transition seasons between Summer and Winter typically spark a lot of change and with that comes the inevitable increase of wind. But did you know that a study has shown that the world's winds are actually speeding up?

Despite the fact that strong winds can do damage, the report highlights the fact that this can be a major boom for industries that rely on wind power and renewable energy.

So let's hear from you dear readers - What's something positive that came out of something you initially thought would be a negative? How did it turn around for you?

I had to miss a weekend conference in Manchester for a church group that I'm in as my Mum wasn't keen on the distance. When that weekend rolled around, I had a TERRIBLE cold and it was just as well!! No chance that I'd be stuck slogging across the country while I should be in bed or infecting the other members in attendance!

Lots of snowfall / ice here in Vermont over the past 2 week...positive is that it gives me the opportunity to work from home, be in more comfy clothes, and spend more time with my rescue dog :)
