Good Morning Community!

Here in the good 'ol Northern Hemisphere, we're experiencing a bit of a cold spell in certain areas.  For example, here at Blackbaud Headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina, we just experienced the coldest day of the year!  Well, maybe that doesn't sound so impressive since the year is only 21 days old so far.  But it's cold.  Well, kinda cold.  People that live North of us would laugh at our shivering and over-dressing, but cold is all relative.

Meanwhile, our friends in the Southern Hemisphere (Australia in particular) are still struggling with record heat and massive brush fires.  Here's how YOU can help the people, communities, and animals affected:

Ray Bergman‍ yes, that is cold; water will freeze...but like Judy Spigarelli‍ said, it is all relative. Melonie Allyn-Schwerin‍ you have my sincerest sympathy, but I have to say, there isn't much for you Crystal Bruce‍.  It has been in the twenties or below here in NW Ohio, but will get up in the mid 40s today - which feels like early spring. We have had a very mild winter this year.
It's all relative, and 31 for the south is certainly cold.  If I leave 6 degrees in NH for a warm weather vacation, I would not be thrilled for 31 degrees.  But 31 degrees in NH right now would be lovely.  And tomorrow, we may get up to 45!  Time to break out our bathing suits. ;)
In all fairness I did walk out of the house in my flip flops today (which is pretty standard) - and I had to change into boots. ++ it is supposed to be back up to 70 by Friday.
LOL. Yeah, us Minnesotans are chortling at your weather. I just googled your current temp and it's 40. That's freaking balmy! You're still in shorts weather, my friend. The past two days have been subzero. I'm trying to find empathy, but it's hard...
Diana Turner‍ 31 degrees farenheit!!!
And this begs the question - how cold is it?
